Yes the Get of Fenris are a Lycan blooded type from the Werewolf the Apocalypse games (when I played in the late 90's anyways) so you ask why does he have the big jaguar at his side?

The Jaguar is a she, and her name is Miyalee. She was once a proud member of the Balam, a breed of Bagheera (cat Lycans) that are known for their aggressive nature but also for their deep bonds.
Miyalee fell hard for Nicholai though he didn't share her obsession unfortunately, and because of the so called betrayl against her race she was cursed and never allowed to take her human, or lycan form again. Spiteful and literally pissed off that she obviously has no chance with her wolfie love interest Miyalee instead chose to aid him as she could (and act as a sentinel just in case another lady decides to dig her claws into her man).
Maul goes along with it, besides it isn't such a bad thing to have another set of claws and teeth there to get him out of trouble.
Still when she sticks her whiskers where she's not wanted he lets her know it.

I could stick some rather nasty puns into that story but I won't..
